Researchers from the University of California, Irvine, conducted a study of 103 office workers to see how their computer use correlated with their stress levels. The researchers used a program that monitored the participants’ computer usage, including the number of mouse clicks, keystrokes, and time spent on different applications. The study found that individuals who exhibited erratic mouse movements, such as rapid clicking or dragging, were more likely to be stressed at work.
